Changelog

What changed in Persisty, newest first. None of this has shipped in a public build yet.

  1. Website, Docs and this Changelog

Persisty now has a website in Portuguese, English and Spanish, with the plans, the download page and the Persisty Cloud account.

    • Account on the website: sign in with a code sent by e-mail, the same as in the app. In My account you see your plan and the connected devices (and can revoke one), turn on the launch notice and record your interest in Enterprise.
    • Docs with what the app does today and what it does not do yet.
    • Changelog with an RSS feed in each language.
  2. Embedded supervisor and builds for Windows and Linux

    • The tmux that keeps sessions alive now ships inside the app on macOS and Linux. You no longer need to install anything separately.
    • On Windows, Persisty's own supervisor (persist-supervisord) does the same job. Agents work without a POSIX shell: Claude Code's hooks call a native executable.
    • There is an installer for Windows, and .deb and AppImage packages are set up for Linux. Neither has been tested on real machines yet, and both will ship as a preview.
    • Fixed: agent events could be lost when a line was read while it was still being written.
  3. Request queue, restore points, check on finish and own folder

Four Pro plan features to leave the agent working without you:

    • Request queue: the request goes when the agent is free, when the 5 h window renews or from a chosen time. One at a time, never during work or over a permission request.
    • Restore points: each request saves the folder's state before the agent starts. Restoring first shows what comes back and what is deleted, and saves the current state as a new point.
    • Check on finish: a workspace command runs on its own when the agent stops after changing files, and the header says whether it passed or failed.
    • Own folder per session: in git folders, the session can get a persist/<name> branch in a folder of its own. The branch is never deleted.
  4. Editor, git changes and side panel

    • Session side panel (⌘\): Changes, Code, Search, Notes and Details beside the terminal, with a draggable divider.
    • Editor: a tree of the session's folder, tabs, ⌘S, a warning when the file changes on disk, syntax highlighting per language, ⌘P, ⌘⇧F and git marks in the gutter.
    • Changes: stage and unstage file by file, commit with ⌘↵, "Commit and push", a diff per file and a history of what has not been pushed.
    • Branch in the session header, with search, local and remote branches and "Create branch".
    • Command drawer: each workspace command becomes a tab with its state written out. Stopping sends Ctrl-C and keeps the output.
  5. Persisty Cloud account and network log

    • Settings › Account: sign in with a code sent by e-mail, with the account created the first time. Plan and features come from a signed licence that works for 14 days without internet.
    • Settings › Network: every call the app makes to the outside, with destination, reason, size, result and time. Never headers, body or parameters.
    • The 5 h and 7 d windows in the footer now come live, from the same place as Claude Code's /usage.
  6. Several Claude Code accounts, with rotation

    • Settings › AI accounts lists this computer's account and the ones connected through the app, each with its organisation, plan and live 5 h and 7 d windows.
    • Connect account opens Claude Code's own sign-in in the browser; the account shows up on its own when you finish. Disconnect logs it out.
    • Rotation (Pro): each new Claude Code session goes to the account with the most room in the 5 h window; accounts above 90% sit out. The new session form has a new "Automatic" option.
    • Settings and instructions are shared between the accounts; sign-in and history never are.
  7. Projects, sessions that survive and the restore report

The first version of Persisty for daily use:

    • Projects with several workspaces, showing each folder's branch and changes.
    • Persistent sessions in a supervisor separate from the window: quitting or crashing the app kills nothing, and reopening it reattaches each terminal with its history.
    • Restore all after restarting the computer, with a report of what came back, what failed and why. Running it twice does not duplicate sessions.
    • Claude Code with a session id chosen by Persisty, states from hooks and resume with --resume confirmed by Claude Code itself.
    • AI usage: estimated spend by session, project, model and day, always labelled as an estimate.
