Terms of use

Updated on October 22, 2026

By using Persisty, the website or the Persisty Cloud account, you agree to these terms.

The service

Persisty is a desktop app for organising projects and keeping terminal and AI agent sessions running. The core is free. Paid plans enable additional features, described on the Pricing page.

Your account

You sign in with a code sent to your e-mail. Use an e-mail address that is yours and do not share the codes. You are responsible for what is done with your account.

What the app does on your machine

Persisty runs with your permissions and opens the agents you choose. The agents run tools and change files according to your requests and the permissions you grant in them. You are responsible for what you ask the agents to do and for keeping a copy of what matters. Features such as restore points help, but they do not replace a backup.

Third-party accounts

Persisty works with third-party tools, such as Claude Code and Codex, using the accounts and sign-ins you already have. Your use of those accounts follows each provider's terms. Claude and Claude Code are trademarks of Anthropic; Codex is a trademark of OpenAI. Persisty is not affiliated with either of them.

Prices are on the Pricing page. Subscriptions open soon; billing and cancellation terms will be shown before any payment. The paid licence is valid for 14 days without internet and covers up to 5 computers per account. If the plan ends, the app goes back to the free plan.

Software licence

Persisty is proprietary software. You get the right to install and use the app on your computers. You may not resell or redistribute the app, or try to extract its source code.

No warranties

Persisty is provided as is. We work to make it stable and to have it say clearly what it could not do, but we do not guarantee that it works without failures in every situation. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from use of the app.

Changes

These terms may change. The date at the top shows the version in force, and significant changes are announced by e-mail to everyone with an account.
