Account, plans and licence

What the Persisty account is for, how the offline licence works and how many computers it covers.

The free plan needs no account. The Persisty Cloud account exists for the paid plans and for the notices you ask for.

Sign in

You sign in with a code: enter your e-mail, receive a code and type it in the app or on the website. The account is created the first time you sign in, with no password. The code works for 10 minutes, once.

In the app, the session is kept in the system Keychain.

Licence

Paid features are enabled by a signed licence that the app checks on its own.

  • It is valid for 14 days without internet. With the app open and a connection, it renews every 6 hours.
  • It covers up to 5 computers per account. In My account you can see the devices and revoke one of them.
  • If the plan ends, Persisty goes back to the free plan. Restore points already saved can still be restored, and requests already in the queue are still delivered.
